Pebble Mind Journal · A friendly first step

Five small things
to try first.

You do not need to be a developer to try private AI on your iPhone or iPad.

Pebble Mind is a free-to-start app for chatting with supported AI models on your device. No account or API key is required to begin.

1. Turn a rough note into an outline

Paste a note and ask for a short outline with headings. It can help organize a trip, a project, or ideas before you share them with anyone.

2. Rewrite a message

Ask for a message to sound warmer, shorter, or more direct. Review the result before sending it.

3. Ask questions about a document

Where supported, attach a document and ask for a summary or key points. Do not use AI output as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.

4. Brainstorm privately

Generate names, outlines, checklists, or alternatives without opening a hosted AI account. Pebble Mind shows model details so you can choose one that fits your device.

5. Keep web search as a separate choice

The local workflow does not require remote AI inference. Optional web search is available for current information; when enabled, the request goes to the configured external search service and sources are shown.

A simple first session

Open Models, choose a model marked as suitable for your device, download it, and start with a small prompt. Larger models can require substantial storage, so check the model information first.
